We didn't see each other very often over the years, Larry, but I remember you as a smiling face and warm heart at family reunions. You will be missed by all.
Elaine and George Theus left a message on March 2, 2025:
Our prayers and sympathy to Jeanette, their sons Lawrence, Daniel and Matthew, sister-in-law Jane, brother Robert, sisters Martha and Christine, their spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I shared a birthday with my dear cousin Larry and many happy memories at our Mieyal family picnics. George and I announced our engagement at Jeanette and Larry’s wedding reception. Larry’s smile, sense of humor and warm hugs will be missed by everyone that was blessed to know and love him.
Douglas Ritzenthaler left a message on February 26, 2025:
Cousin Larry was a great man. Kind, gentle, loving, funny, and holy. I remember as a kid he was at my parent's home (Al and Gini Ritz's) for a big graduation party. One of his kids (Matt or Dan) was too close to a car pulling out of the driveway. Larry told him, "don't get too close to the car as its backing up." Why? says his son. Larry responds: "because the bottom of his car has propellers for cutting the grass and you could cut your foot!" The sight of that little boy looking for propellers under that (and every other car that was there) was priceless. Requiem in pacem
