JOHN FRANK PELCIC age 97 of Cleveland, passed away peacefully July 29, 2020. John is preceded in death by, Dorothy his beloved wife of 65 years and his beloved children Dorothy and Joseph. Loving father of John (Susan), Michael (Susan), Timothy (Gayla) and Anthony (Jennifer). Cherished grandfather of Justina (Kyle), Jared, Connor, Katherine, and Victoria. Great Grandfather of Kaleb, Karter, Kase, Jacob, Emma, Zachary and one Angel on the way.
John was a proud WWII, US Navy Veteran who served on the USS Norman Scott (DD690) Destroyer out of San Diego as a Fire Controlman in the Pacific Theater.
He enjoyed gardening and could grow anything and share an abundance of vegetables with his family. He was always there to fix anything for the kids.
The family will receive friends in celebration of John’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel 14200 Snow Rd Brook Park, 44142 on Friday July 31, 2020 from 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at Blessed Trinity Church 14040 Puritas Ave, Cleveland, OH 44135 Saturday at 10AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
